Good News

Well, today we all got up and went to Sabbath School and Church. The girls just love to go to Sabbath School. Brooklyn loves to bang her sticks together. She also loves to go and put the felts up on the board. And her favorite thing is the craft time. She loves to color, so she has a blast coloring her craft. She had a really busy day. She got to play with Jordan and Shaylee. She runs all over the place with them. It really is good for her, but she does get so tired or "tidered" as she says. Rilee has really started sucking her thumb the last couple of days. It is just the cutest thing. In fact I just took a picture of it on my phone and sent it to my email.

Kiara came home today from the hospital. We don't know how long she'll get to stay, but she was only gone for a week and a half. This time went really fast. She is normally there for 3 wks to a month. But her counts dropped and came back up really fast. We hope this means her treatments get done faster. We'll see. Oh! The cancer is completely gone from her body! But she still has to have all of her chemo treatments. It is just like taking an antibiotic. You have to take it till it is gone even though you feel better because you can relapse. It is just the same with the cancer. If they don't keep going there would be a chance that it would come back. But the kind she had is curable and she will never get it back once she is finished. Plus, with her having Downs syndrome her body has responded very well to the chemo. Kids with Downs can handle the chemo so much better than a regular person. So that was a definite plus on her side. Thank you all so much for your prayers. They are the reason Kiara is doing so well. She has God on her side.

Well, it is time for bed for me. We had a very long day. I'm going to have Erik help me post some pictures tomorrow. One will include the one I just took on my phone of Rilee sucking her thumb. Goodnite. And bye for now........
